The human mind is one of the greatest wonders ever created by Creation itself. The power of the mind has been documented by scholars and learned men since aeons long gone. Miracles and seemingly supernatural occurences have been caused by the mind. Our thoughts are really powerful and shape the very reality that we perceive and experience.Thus we must understand how powerful the mind is.Our minds can make us kings who conquer the illusions of Life and reach the Ultimate Goal.

I remember times when we talked for the pure joy of talking to each other. We shared, laughed and cried. We spoke of anything our hearts desired. Mostly it was pure spontaneity, spoken raw. It's lead us to the uncharted and in this uncharted we were discoverers of each other. Those were beautiful days and my heart still brightens in recollection. Continues...

Not all love stories have happy endings , not everyone gets the happily ever after they deserve. People like me. I Emerald Night , will tell you my story , a story about how I found love. (in which a high school girl -Emerald- finds love and things only get better and worse from there.)

Life is an intriguing mystery in itself. It works on principles which we have always inherently known. At certain moments in our lives , we face situations which cause us get stuck in a cycle of torment and grief and we chain ourselves to the past. Life does this so that we can learn that true happiness comes from within ourselves and not from external influences. It also causes us to ultimately let go of all darkness and move towards a golden dawn.

Following a brutal tragedy that left Lake Preparatory School's most prominent friend group in shambles, Jaclyn Brown knows that to love something is to let it go. But she isn't ready to let go of them just yet. For Jaclyn, these people are what make the Eastside home. The memories they've made since playing duck, duck, goose on the first day of kindergarten, the late night runs to the closest Baskin-Robbins, and watching the early morning sunrises from their school's parking lot while screaming to their favorite songs will always have a special place in her heart. Going into their senior year of high school, Jaclyn knows how important their friendships are, and will stop at nothing to get them back.

A fifteen-year-old girl has recently suffered the loss of her closest friend. Join her as she pushes through adversity, meets new people, brings her mind to peace, and works to recreate the halcyon days that she once lived.

As being a nearly eighty year old woman, you come to life thinking about the inevitable, the end. I am lucky enough to still have the air in my lungs and the most treasured memories in my head that I have decided to write them in a memoir. Unlike life today, being a teen in the 50s had different outcomes to the wild and crazy life of young adults now. Everything was different...expect for one thing that we both have in common, life now and back then was a like rollercoaster, it only went up. And when you find the one you love, it sticks with you even until even now. Love is love, it can be painful but it can be cherished. That's life I'm afraid and even all these years later, it still hasn't changed.

This is just a short story detailing the reminiscence of a twin looking back on the good times.

Over the past few years, soccer in the U.S. has developed from a little known sport to a game that many people care and participate in, whether they are playing or spectating. This sudden rise in popularity has produced many top class men players from the U.S. that have gone overseas to play for European teams such as Chelsea, Schalke, and other top teams. However, while the women's team has excelled against almost any opposition, our men's national team has demonstrated that they are far off from excelling in their own right. So what is missing? In this article, I will analyze what happened to a team that once held seemingly unlimited promise.
