Pastor Matthew Ackerman, a devout man of faith, has always been a source of strength and guidance for his three children - Salome, Adriel, and Kezia. However, when a sudden and life-threatening injury leaves him bedridden, the Ackerman siblings are forced to pause their own lives and rally around their father in his time of need. Each of the siblings has strayed from their faith in different ways over the years, influenced by the challenges and distractions of daily life. Salome has become consumed by her demanding career, pushing aside her spiritual beliefs in pursuit of success. Adriel has distanced himself from the church due to a past betrayal that shattered his trust in both people and in God. Kezia has been searching for fulfillment in relationships and worldly pleasures, neglecting the faith that once anchored her. As they come together to care for their father, old wounds resurface and tensions rise. Yet, in the midst of the turmoil, they are reminded of the teachings of their father and the lessons of Jesus Christ that shaped their upbringing. Through moments of reflection and shared experiences, they begin to reexamine their beliefs, questioning the paths they have chosen and seeking to find their way back to a deeper understanding of God's love. "The Road Back Home" is a powerful and emotional journey of family, love, and the transformative power of God's grace. It serves as a reminder that no matter how far we may stray, the path back to faith is always open, welcoming us with open arms and guiding us back to the eternal love of Jesus Christ.

However, there are little things (and sometimes part of the disasters!) that aren't. Acts of kindness and selflessness. That's what we're focusing on in this book.
