DISCLAIMER: This book contains some scenes of minor violence. Viewer discretion is advised. Hello! The Winter Tribes is a short novel written by a group of three people in middle school. Just so you know, this is our first novel, so forgive us if we accidentally leave some unexplained plot holes. We know, this is a lot like the book series Warriors, but we do not copy and only draw inspiration from it. (Warriors is a genuinely good series and it has an amazing community; go check it out!) FYI, the first few chapters are the worst ones, because we just started at that time, and it took us a few chapters to write better. We promise it gets better along the way, so please read the whole thing to have a better experience to this book. We're currently still working on the first and second installments of this series right now, so sit back, relax, and enjoy. Shadow is exiled from her tribe after the assassination of her tribe's leader. When hopes for home slowly disappear, she decides to use her life to rescue young Frostfangs left on the high Sharprock peaks left to die by the evil Nobility of the Frostfangs. As Shadow builds a new tribe out of the dust, she finds old friends and new, who agree to join her cause. Shadow must be strong and defend her growing tribe for the sake of the tribemates that she raised and survive the troubles that her tribe must survive to become stronger. This is a comparison between the Infernal Devices and the Mortal Instruments. This was originally a review on Goodness I did a few years back. This isn't really a story... more like a document full of spoilers. If you think of any similarities - no matter how obscure.

Join Madeline as she tries to understand the confusing world around her and has to learn how to juggle both school and work. ❝Smile. The blurb, the blurb is not to be mistaken in the lack of informative souls. What was the once famous saying? ‘Never judge a book by its cover’ what are you doing right now? Why did you divert your eyes to the swannings of the River Tyne, was it something different, something unique, or something more powerful than ever with a touch of home? “Moral of the story – Life is like a teabag; you end up dead, replaced and forgotten.” “The idea of being unstuck in the animation of humanity was enough to put a beam upon anyone’s face.” “I felt like indolently cutting open each vigorous stratum of stomach skin, reaching for the intestine core and casing it around the distension of my faded neck.” You may ask how on Earth one simply manages to endorse an igloo in the beaming summer sun. In fact, it’s almost impossible, not one layer of snow nor a falling snowflake upon the moonlit ambience. But this summer was different. This was the summer of twenty-three year old Vanessa Pools. Find the truth inside the world of self-harm, depression, isolation, bullying and self esteem. Your actions have consequences, my actions have consequences and together we can fight life in the power of humanity.

I am not a writer. But reading is a staple in my life that gets me through vast number of worlds and feelings I have no idea I am capable of experiencing. I am no professional critic either. But I have seen some good works that left really good impressions. I will always remember the likes of Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things, where things I am not capable of putting into words were very accurately told. Like, how could you possibly describe the smell of steel in your hands after you have held on to it for a long time? Likewise, I'll forever be amazed of how Paolo Coelho's and Neil Gaiman's works were able to transport me into different worlds. With new technologies, e-books and all, I'm truly glad to have a way of experiencing good works as these in my fingertips, anytime, anywhere. And Wattpad had been home to great writers and works for years now. What more can I ask for? Join me as I explore more worlds and share with you my top and fav picks of all time here on Wattpad, some were a bit underrated but truly worthy of more reads. Enjoy!
