So, despite new relationships coming to light with a certain ice mage, she decides to abandon Fairy Tail in order to train and make her long line of celestial spirit mage ancestors proud. Not out of need for revenge or spite, but out of pure determination to be better. Juvia Lockser can tell that her Gray-sama doesn't love her. He is talented and powerful. She is nothing in comparison to him in her mind. Just a normal water mage, unimpressive and bland and crazy. She can't fight and she isn't pretty. She is unworthy of loving him until she can get stronger. Cana Alberona feels defeated after another failure at the S-class trails, losing to Freed. She no longer cares about her need to prove herself to her father, nor does she mind that she cannot call herself an S-class mage. She just feels she has lacked improvement in the last five years, like she peaked at 13. So when lucy tells her former teammate about her idea to leave, and Juvia overhears the pair, the three girls decide to set off together, to better themselves and become as strong as they can be. A year later they return and old relationships crash back. Will the three be forever partners? Or will old feelings, old friends, and a war on the horizon break apart our team of underdogs? i've written one of these stories in the past, but deleted it due to lack of views. i'm writing one again now because i see these have gotten quite popular. and as this story, may have some similarities to others, it has many differences. - the blond fairytail mage, lucy heartfilia, sets off to the magic council to visit one imparticular person. not for herself, though. because one of her guildmates had an uneasy feeling about an old friend. after talking to the said, "old friend" of a particular guildmate, she decides to bail him out. legal or not, she had to get him out of there. though, as she is speaking with the magic council about his bail and the consequences, something interrupted them. and ended up changing lucy's life drastically.

"My dear Lucy, soon you will hear a knock on your door. You will probably be the one to answer it since Flame-Brain is to lazy to wake up this early. You will see this box and what's inside along with this letter that you are hopefully reading now, but you will not see me." Gray writes a letter to his ex-girlfriend Lucy Heartfillia, saying what he can before it's too late, or maybe it all ready is.
