This collection of 50 poems is my tribute and celebration of the my country , The Philippines. A beautiful and verdant country and its ever resilient people. To be honest my liking of poetry has been tempered by events in my life especially my health. My job had also taken a toll of my mental powers. But upon seeing the happenings of my country and watching videos admiring how great and resilient the people of the Philippines is, I decided why not make a poetry collection about my country. The greatness and the flaws of my beloved Philippines. And so this poetry collection was created to give tribute to my country, The pearl of the orient, may she weather any storm and be resilient for all eternity. The depths of the oceans can no longer hold me back. Through the valleys I have already travelled with profound joy in my heart and a skip in my step. I am present in the now and living out His will for me. Through creativity, I believe we will find our individual ways of expression and a release of desperation, hurt and fear amongst other feelings. This is one of my most beautiful stories. It describes what is gratitude, real love and the true relationship... I think all these things exists naturally between Parents and Children who strengthen us in our toughest times. I hope this story will definitely attract all of you...
