It all started with a random notification.

Would you rather have a mediocre life or a life filled with mindblowing hearttwisting ups and devastating heartbreaking downs? Would you play safe or choose ultralife? Julie has always been waiting, which kinda sucks if you don't know for what. She liked Belgium, but felt imprisoned by it at times. She liked her school, but hated half of the subjects that she didn't even want to do. She liked her friends, but felt as if they weren't on the same level, not really. There was nothing to do in her small village, most parties in the closest city were lame, school was annoying. But there was the plan that she and her friends had come up with to save her. A year together in England to follow the lessons she really wanted to attend and have the time of her life. Until all her friends are allowed to go and only she gets send to the USA... Life. She leaves reluctantly and already has her bags packed again after a horrible first week, until she gets to Tish High and meets a firework of a boy...

Every year, the government sends all 100 18-year-olds to the Island where they must survive for 3 months. It seems simple enough, they're given 3 items of their choice to bring with and there are already shelters built by people who went before them. But Ethan knows it's still dangerous. Creatures lurked in the darkness, ready to attack at any moment. Bats, poisonous spiders, snakes, leopards, but worst of all, his own kind. Humans. Based off of @radioactivexdolan's oneshot "the island."
