In another universe, Gellert Grindelwald is a Hogwarts Professor. From the looks of things, he's a normal professor who teaches his favorite class, and caters to his House! But there seems to be something going on that the students, as well as some staff, are unaware of!

*Complete* Chapters 1-14: Gellert and Albus in 1899, two handsome, power hungry young adults planning to change the world...they were closer than brothers 👀 Chapters 15-42: 1927-1936, they've gone their separate ways but know they will meet again some day...Dumbledore struggles with the joys of teaching and Grindelwald will try and keep his acolytes at bay...especially Vinda (I didn't mean for that to rhyme oh god) Chapters 43-52: 1943, Albus has to help the school when mysterious attacks occur at Hogwarts that resulted in many injured students and the death of an innocent girl. Gellert is stronger than ever, waiting for the day he sees his ex-lover again... Chapters 53-55: 1945, The final battle is getting closer where Gellert and Albus will have to face each other. Secrets will unfold and confessions will occur which will lead to the fate of the wizarding world. Who, if anyone, will have a happy ending? Chapter 56: 1964, What happened after the battle and where did it leave our beloved Albus Dumbledore? What will occur at his school next I wonder... Chapters 57-58: 1981, Albus is struggling with secrets he can't tell anyone but cannot keep bottled up inside him any longer. Who can he trust to not tell anyone? Answer, Gellert Grindelwald who is locked up in Nurmengard for life after his battle with Albus but accepts his fate as in the end he has remorse Chapters 59-61: 1992-1996, Albus' yearly presents and visits to Grindelwald as a way to keep his ex-lover going in his isolating cell. They discuss what is happening outside the walls as well as things they never thought to discuss when they were together. What might have happened if there was another Potter that fateful night in October? How would that have affected the fate of the Wixen World? Not only did the universe drop another child to the Potters, but as they grew up, little nudges here and there seemed to alter the Wizarding World's original course. In a world where things happened differently, could there be responsible adults, a better life and things just a little bit less dreadful for the Chosen One(s)? or A Harry Potter rewrite because I've got nothing better to do :)

The school year 1898/99 promised to be the most remarkable one for young Albus Dumbledore for the infamous Triwizard Tournament was to be held between the most famous wizarding schools Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. His greatest aspiration had always been participating in the games-better yet, claiming victory. Such achievement would bring great honour to the Dumbledore name after his father had been confined to Askaban. Yet immediately upon entering Durmstrang, a fairly talented and rather handsome young wizard caught his interest; Gellert Grindelwald. Though, despite Gellert's troublesome reputation, Albus found himself intrigued by him all the same. A/n: English is not my mother tongue, and I find it fairly difficult to write in this old-fashioned language. The following chapters will therefore be composed in a more modern and simple way. First of all, thank you so much for clicking on my work ( <3 ) So, this is my first fanfiction ever, and also my first time writing something in english for fun ( and not homework related...) English is not my first language, and I'm far from being an expert : even if I checked several times, it's very likely there are mistakes of all kind. It's very short, therefore I won't even try to pretend there's a plot. About the story itself : it's entirely Ariana centric. I relate to her and her situation so much ( or at least, to what we know about it ) I felt the need to get this out of my mind. Gellert Grindelwald, a feared and somewhat hated student among most of his fellow students. An intelligent rising talent to his teachers. These dangerous qualities led him to become the Drumstrang champion in the Triwizard Tournament. He came to Hogwarts at the cost of being cut off by his devoted followers at Drumstrang. Surrounded for months by students who would gladly see him dead at Hogwarts. But he takes the risk for reasons beyond the glory he could gain and knows he can take. Meanwhile, Albus Dumbledore's attention is captured by this strange foreign blond Drumstrang upon the first glance and entranced even when only knowing his name.

The year is 1995 and Grindelwald has broken out of Nurmengard. For the first time in half a century, Dumbledore is not entirely sure of what to do.

Gellert and Albus have some history together, which also explains Gellert's behaviour in Fantastic Beasts. This perfectly sums it up. So please read it through Potterhaeds, because there might be so some surprising information! Btw it took me quite a long time
