A little sneak peek: Chennai, 2014. Highschool. I was playing pen fight with Gokul when Chandru elbowed me in the ribs. "Macha, macha... un aal draaaa," he whispered. (Dude, dude... your girl.) I dropped my pen and looked at the door. Abi entered our class carrying a notebook. She handed the notebook to the substitute teacher. The teacher asked her something and then started signing. Abi used this time gap to look at me. She knew exactly which bench I usually sit on, so her eyes found mine instantly. I raised my eyebrows at her. She glared at me cutely, knitting her eyebrows together and scrunching her nose while slightly pouting her mouth. Damn!!! Suddenly, I became too aware of my hands. My hands were screaming, Bro, what do we do? ------------------------ Welcome to Abi and Ashu's journey. A slow-burn love story about growing up, innocence of school love, long-distance struggles, and the challenge of choosing between dreams and love. Before you begin, here's what you should know: *Inspired by a True Story* This story is inspired by real events from my life. It is written in a journalistic, slice-of-life style, so some parts may feel repetitive because real life doesn't follow a perfect script. The emotions and major events are real, but a few fictional elements have been added to make the story flow better. Also, the present-day portions are completely fictional. The story is mostly told from Ashu's point of view. Some chapters are from Abi's perspective and were written by my real-life girlfriend. These chapters share her side of the story and moments Ashu never saw. The story is set in a Tamil cultural background. Tamil dialogues are kept to preserve the emotions, with English translations included. Note: This is our first time writing a story. I used AI tools only to improve grammar and polish sentences. The feelings, memories, and experiences are completely mine. I hope you enjoy being part of our journey!

"Those dancing in battle wear steel. Those clashing at court wear silk." At sixteen summers, Azalea Husniria knows three absolute truths: the northern borders are fracturing, her brothers are too busy counting spears to notice the rot at home, and the flavor of bitter almonds means the family food taster has less than ten minutes to live. With the formidable vanguard away at the frontiers, the capital of Elbar should be a sanctuary. Instead, it is a locked vault filled with vipers. As the aging Amir's youngest daughter, Azalea--'Zal' to those who know and love her, and 'the Little Viper' to those who do not--holds no military rank and claims no seniority by blood. But while her older sister, Leia, relies on birthright and grace, and her brothers rely on iron and calculations, Azalea understands the currency of whispers, shadows, and locked doors. When a failed assassination attempt threatens to plunge the Amirate into a premature succession crisis, Azalea must systematically dismantle the treason festering within her father's own walls before the enemy at the gates even arrives. They think she is merely watching the map table. They forget that the second daughter learns best how to strike from spots they don't remotely expect. Welcome to the Urdinite Era.

Before We Knew We Were Growing Up A coming-of-age story about friendship, growing up, and all the little things that become memories before we even realize it. Do you remember the little things that once meant everything? The friends we thought would stay forever. The late-night conversations and silly fights. The first crush, the first heartbreak, and the feelings we couldn't explain. The dreams we were sure about and the future we couldn't wait to meet. Growing up was never just about getting older. It was about changing without noticing. The laughter. The loneliness. The mistakes. The little victories. The people we met, the people we lost, and the ordinary days we didn't know we'd miss. Maybe our lives aren't extraordinary. Maybe it's the ordinary moments that make them worth remembering. We grew up in a generation that seemed to experience everything at once-freedom, pressure, social media, dreams, confusion, love, loss, and the feeling that we're somehow supposed to have life figured out. But maybe nobody really does. At the end of every chapter, I'll leave you with one question. Not for the story. For you. Because maybe, somewhere in these pages, you'll find a little bit of yourself. So, before we begin-what is one moment from your life you wish you could live just once more?

Never thought I'd join Blue Spirits, but you know what they say, when stars align, they shit on you. When I was a kid, life was all about my sister. Everyone I'd ever known growing up had some poik spots somewhere. It was normal. Then these freak kids were born who never got em. Clean, and my sister was one of them. Those kids started to disappear. It had to be the Supremacy, and since they had been coming around more often, I felt like I had to guard my sister with my life. No one ever really questioned Supra around here. They just kind of let them do whatever. But there was one kid who wanted to make a difference, and everyone knew him by his nickname like a Super Hero. Rebellion. The Kid Crusader wanted to be behind it all, and for whatever reason, he wanted me to join him. Blue Spirits? Well that comes later. Just let me tell my story, for cryin' out loud. This is my story. It's kind of slow, but it's still mine nonetheless. Buckle up, kids. -Alex This book takes place within the Inherited universe *See also Locus: The Age of Spring, for another book/series in the same universe that has mention of this character. It is not necessary to read it to enjoy this book. Content Warning: This book will include violent scenes, death, and deteriorating mental psychosis.

Friendships are supposed to last forever. At least, that's what she believed. As school comes to an end and life begins pulling everyone in different directions, the friendships she once considered unbreakable start to change. Conversations become shorter, silences grow longer, and memories begin to feel more real than the present. Caught between holding on and learning to let go, she must face her fears, her insecurities, and the truth about what friendship really means. Where the Thread Broke is a heartfelt coming-of-age story about friendship, change, memories, and discovering that not every bond is lost simply because it has changed. Some threads break. Some threads find their way back.

Lena has always been good at following the plan. Graduate early. Pick the sensible school. Stay close to home. Build the kind of life people point to and call successful. But life has a way of changing shape before you're ready for it. Between unopened acceptance letters, quiet expectations, first choices that feel impossible, and the people who teach us there is more than one way to live, Lena begins to question whether becoming an adult means becoming who everyone expected-or becoming someone she chooses. This is a story about growing up, grief, love in all its forms, and learning that sometimes the people who change your life aren't always the ones who stay. Warning: This book contains depictions of grief, loss, and a fatal motor vehicle accident

Her twin brother knows exactly which buttons to press if he wants her to yell "Hou je mond" (shut your mouth) right back at him. Her diaries know better. There are old friendships. Family wars. New beginnings. An indie band. A life slowly taking shape. And then there's Maya. There are, unfortunately, a lot of diary entries about Maya. Dear Maya, was never supposed to become an investigation into whether Jackie actually likes her, whether she likes Haru, or whether Jackie has simply developed a catastrophic inability to identify her own feelings. Meanwhile, Jack is still Jack. Which means somehow the twins will continue finding new ways to start wars from opposite sides of Europe. One Parker family. Two twins. Two very different perspectives. This is Jackie's story.
