Poverty is no joke. it's so sad that normal people have to live like this, in fear, not knowing when they'll get their next meals. Some kids even get sold because their family needs money. This is depressing, so many people live their lives like this, 46.9 percent of our population is in poverty. Sadly this is the case with Maria Gonzàlez and her family. They live in Guatemala, Maria lives with her mom and her two brothers Mateo and Carlos. They live in a small run-down town in Guatemala. There are times when they don't have enough money.

"From Amish Farm Boy to Jungle Doctor: The Life of Elam Stoltzfus" The only thing farther from the quiet, peaceful life Elam Stoltzfus always thought he'd lead as an Amish man in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, was the country he ended up calling home with his wife and children in 1972. Settling in northern Guatemala, Elam began a great adventure with his family, living on a houseboat on the Passion River. His children awoke every morning and swam with the crocodiles. His wife cooked bananas, and canned iguana meat. In a dozen villages along the river, the family planted churches. And on the four-hundred-acre property they settled, complete with buried Mayan temples, they opened a medical clinic where Elam became a self-taught jungle doctor. Nineteen years later, communist guerrillas swept into the mission compound, looted and burned the family's home, the medical clinic, canning center, and the mission's airplanes. Elam had thought the hardest thing he ever had to do was to leave his Amish life behind-until he had to stand with his wife and children amidst the burnt ruins of their life's work, and watch as his 23-year-old son was taken hostage, off into the night. It's a life Elam Stoltzfus never could have dreamed of, and a life readers will never forget. (Published and available now at Amazon.com on Kindle and in print.)

Introduction Guatemala, a country known for its vibrant culture and rich history, is now witnessing a revolution in transportation. In recent years, there has been a significant surge in the popularity of two-wheelers, fundamentally transforming the way people move around in this Central American gem. This growing trend has not only provided a more efficient and cost-effective mode of transportation but has also become a symbol of a shifting lifestyle. In this blog post, we'll delve into the reasons behind the rise of two-wheelers in Guatemala and the impact they are having on the motos guatemala. Economic Advantage One of the primary factors contributing to the surge in two-wheeler popularity is the economic advantage they offer. Motorcycles and scooters are more fuel-efficient than traditional four-wheelers, making them an affordable option for many Guatemalans. With rising fuel prices and a desire for more cost-effective alternatives, the two-wheeler trend has become a practical solution for daily commuting. Furthermore, the initial cost of purchasing a motorcycle or scooter is generally lower than that of a car, making it accessible to a broader range of individuals. This affordability factor has not only empowered individuals to own personal transportation but has also led to a significant reduction in the dependence on public transportation. Navigating Traffic
