Where did we go this wrong? Wasn't love supposed to conquer it? "Pack piccolo incantatore, sign the divorce papers and get out of the house." His menacing words cut through me. Eyes wide, I stared. Not even a tear, I told to myself. "On what occasion Alessio?" Mirthless laughter filled my ears. Cold green eyes stared at me. "On this occasion." He picked up an envelope from the table, and ripped it open. Grabbing on the contents, he threw it on my face. Countless photos of me and my friend Harry were strewn across. I picked one up and saw that we were rather close. Any person who saw these photos could gave gotten the wrong idea, but Alessio wasn't any person. He was my husband. My love. He trusted me, or was I wrong? "So you are throwing me out of the house because of these moronic photos? This is the extent of your trust? A few bits of paper is all it takes for your trust in me to deter?" I shouted, despair and rage clear as day in my voice. "I had my faith in you even when you came with lipstick marks, when I knew there was no new project for which you were late. But I had faith that you will come to your senses. Because that is what we do. We believe in each other and not leave them without any second thought. Because we love each other. These pictures are false. I could never stoop this low." "Enough." His voice loud enough to be heard and ruthless enough to cut me in pieces. "I don't want to hear anything. Pack, sign and get out." I held my head high and climbed the stairs which led to our room. Once alone, I let my tears flow. All of me was his. All I wanted was love, a family to call my own and that was crushed because of him.
