This is a Gumlee fanfic and the basic idea is that they are in high school as humans and they go through some drama. In the end they find each other and the story starts getting more fluffier, may contain smutty smut smut. How couldn't he see the way he flirted, but when she did it, oh when she flirted they teleported to the bedroom. All Marshall asked was a little attention from the pink wad he wanted so badly.

What will it take to make them realise how much they care for each other? And when will people stop trying to ruin it for them?

Even though Prince Gumball and Marshall Lee don't get along, they start to realize that they need to let go of the past and move forward with their relationship

Gumlee all credit for characters goes to Adventure Time ~~WARNING: CONTAINS CUSSING, INNUENDOES, AND SOME TEEN RATED THEMES~~ Marshal had been alone for a long time, and was growing depressed because of it. So Marshal spends time with Gumball and he begins to grow feelings for him be he doesn't know what they are since he doesn't remember what love feels like. His heart begins to beat again and marshal freaks out, the new constant thrumming in his chest giving him head aches and causing him immense pain and confusion. He is completely confused and isolates himself from the world, but gumball, since their rekindled friendship, begins to grow worried, having not seen Marshal in a while. One night, Marshal visits him, and nearly collapses in pain. Not knowing what to do he brings him to the and kingdom hospital. They don't know whats wrong with him so they kick him out, Gumball ends up bringing Marshal to His castle and tries to care for him But since Marshal now has feelings for Gumball, his revived heart beats faster. Gumball had asked him on multiple occasions what was wrong, but all he got in response was "it hurts" and after Gumball comes and sits next to Marshal, he hears marshal saying that the pulsing got faster. Asking where it was, and finding out it was his heart, he is shocked. Etc etc etc.

Highschool AU Where Marshall (bad boy edginess) is finally in public school after being homeschooled for years of his life due to his parents unwillingness to care for him as a growing adolescent. Gumball is the typical highschool student who just so happens to be the king's son and specializes in science and is Captain of the debate team. Nerdy as that sounds, he's more street smart than one would think given his past experiences with the constant torment because of his extracurricular activities. After an unlikely meet up in the school's library they quickly become acquainted through the means of their third period science class. Marshall isn't quick to open up or even really talk to the boy he's taken to naming Gumwad and the candy prince isn't one to simply let go of Marshall's unjust disliking of him. A furious push and pull of emotions mixed with closeted hostility -mostly on Gumball's side- leads to a maliciously sweet and controversial 'relationship'. Wether or not they make it through senior year without tearing each other apart is a feat they'd both deny was even possible.
