Also born in Houston,Texas born into a large family, lived not too far from where Kellie lived. He's a home grown church boy,grew up in the choir so he is a naturally gifted singer, musician. Anything he touched, he did it so effortlessly. This is the story of how best friends actually do become more than friends, along with crazy boyfriends, fighting, liars, cheaters, arguments. Makena is navigating life as she deals with mental health, sex, drugs, and misogynistic professors. She uses writing as an outlet to tell stories about what happens in her life.
