Will is thrust into another adventure through the multiverse on a mission to find himself. And then his daughter. And then Lyra, who is desperate for some answers and also for a break (spoiler alert, she won't be getting one). Meanwhile, a girl from another world with a strange ability finds herself on an insane journey in places she never thought she'd be, doing things she never thought she'd do.

Lyra tries to escape after the knowledge that Mrs. Coulter is head of the Oblation board. Lyra attempts to escape again with the help of her dæmon but this attempt doesn't end well and now Marisa is worried about the child she has come to love

A mysterious doctor arrives at Lyra's school's ball claiming to have the cure to the 'crossing of worlds' illness. Who are they, and why are they here? I wrote this very short fic after bawling my eyes out over the series ending. The Book of Dust isn't relevant to this fic cause that would just make it more confusing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Highest Rank (that matters): 1st in HDM

Will and Lyra agreed to steal the Alethiometer back from Sir Charles (Lord Boreal), the man who had previously stolen it from Lyra. As Will held the man and Lyra ran for it, but quickly stopped herself when she found out someone holding it. And the person who stood there was no other than her mother - Mrs. Coulter! NOTES: RE-EDITED and posted again.

Lord Asriel will stop at nothing to get the dust he needs to open the window to the other world, even if that means almost sacrificing his own child, Marisa will however, not stop until her child is by her side and safe, on the journey, she comes across all kinds of trouble, but also help, she battles with the magisterium, her daughter, her daemon, but also eventually meets Mary malone and her world is turned upside down. This will be updated as regularly possible as this is based off / come from a current HDM roleplay i am doing. Credit and contribution to this story also goes to @user43808879

Y/N Holland was born in a family of a father who works for the Magisterium and a mother who cares for her. She was home schooled for her childhood, but decided to go to work at Jordan College to study the Alethiometer. She meets Lyra Belaqua and Lee Scoresby, a charming man who loves her dearly. She is slow to confess her feelings, worried about what he will say.

Marisa Coulter's last night with her daughter for thirteen years.
