But magic did not accept everyone. It reacted only to a rare few, because magic sees people as feathers-fragile, breakable, easily swayed by wind and choice. Out of thousands who tried, only thirty people were chosen. Their spirits were steady enough, strong enough, or pure enough to carry true magic without being destroyed by it. They became humanity's last defense. And among those thirty, magic revealed its own hierarchy-its own silent ranking. Some wielded small sparks, others commanded storms. And a rare few stood above all, carrying magic that shaped the fate of the war itself. Together, the thirty sealed the portal and ended the age of shadows. Afterward, the magical artifacts were gathered and destroyed to prevent greed and chaos... except for a handful kept secretly by the descendants of those who once earned magic's trust. Over centuries, the truth faded. The ranking, the thirty, the war-forgotten. Today the story is told only as a legend. But magic is patient. And the few surviving artifacts still wait-quietly- for another feather strong enough not to break.
