A collection of honest poems that might not be so sweet to read. I focus on the human experience, uncensored and unprecedented. These poems refuse to be softened and filtered. Everything I was once told to swallow quietly - not anymore. No sugarcoating. No sugar. Just me, my sugarless tea and my words.

Felt extra sick today and felt like writing about it. Might turn into a series or something, I don't know. Possible collection of daily struggles that should be easy. Not a collection of stories on how to get better. Instead a documentation on what's wrong.

Hi, everyone. This is mostly about me, the author behind some of the works that are on display on my page.

I will always adore you and our little talks, for my heart is yours.

We're told to be friendly. We're told to smile. We're told to wear pink. But no one tells us how to feel safe in a world that ignores our "no." A short, honest exploration of womanhood, broken egos, and the truth behind the "nice little girl" facade. Because sometimes, black is the only color that gives us the freedom to be ourselves.

Being a single young woman, who's never fallen in love or has yet to be in a relationship, I really do think it's self-inflicted! Honestly, it's not that I can't 'get' a man, rather I just don't want one...not for now anyways. (Nah, that's not at all what I tell myself so that I "can sleep at night,") I have insomnia. But nice try...When the possibility does come up, I push them away or think of reasons for why I shouldn't go through with it. It's not you, boys, believe me, it's me and I know it. And obviously, I have an eye out for possible candidates, which girl doesn't?! Though I'm too shy to ever confront you about it, --especially if I don't know you,-- I can assure you that I will admire or judge you, lowkey and from a distance. From where I'm seated, you'll never ever know that me, the shy, innocent girl reading her book, the studious one working on her laptop, is scrutinizing you with every ounce of her being. I wrote this before Edmund & Eve actually..both began in a notebook. I personally like this story better but its mainly up to you. I like it better because it is real, tragic, and honest. its a sad love story between two lovers who are male basically. what's sad about it is the end...that is also the beginning..you'll see what I mean once you start reading. enjoy!<3

A raw and honest short-story about surviving death and decapitation on an overnight journey to Uganda.
