I won the Hunger Games once. They called me a Victor, but I know better. The Capitol took everything from me, my family, the boy I loved, even the right to call myself alive. In the arena, camped out under the tree where Katniss is hiding everything they once believed to be true is ripped from them. The Rebellion is happening in the middle of the 74 Hunger Games. The arena gets bombed and the tributes seize their chance at freedom, running through the hole and into the unforgiving wilderness. Cato and Clove must learn to work with their enemies in order to make it out alive to one of the districts before the Capital finds them. but home is not safe for a bunch of supposedly dead tributes. They have heard rumors that District 13 still exists, and they are hoping against hope that the rumors are true and that they will make it there with each other by their side and be a few of the lucky ones. And possibly have their friendship turn into something more? Watch Cato and Cloves journey as they tackle life before the games, new feelings, and certain death at every turn.

Each year, every twelve Districts must offer up one male and female tribute to fight in this pageant. A fight for glory, for honour, and a fight for their lives. This year is the second Quarter Quell, the fiftieth Hunger Games. And as a striking reminder, that two rebels died for every Capitol citizen, each District shall offer up twice as many tributes as usual. 48 tributes. 1 Victor. Let the fiftieth Hunger Games begin.

Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell are Distict 2 career tributes, but aren't like the others. They have a secret nobody else knows about, not even the hidden cameras around the arena. And that may just be the same facade Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen claimed- that they are star-crossed lovers. Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have been waiting their whole lifes for their chance to participate in the Hunger Games, together. Clove throws knifes- she never misses. Cato is a sword handler- the best of them all. Do they have what it takes to win the Games and come back to their district as the victors of the 74th anual Hunger Games? This is a collection of my poems. None of them are arranged in any particular order, but the dates are recorded, so I would advice considering my age when I wrote these. Enjoy! =D

It's time for the 69th annual Hunger Games. One boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 will be reaped from the 12 districts that make up the nation of Panem to compete in a fight to the death on national television. The male tribute from District 3 is sixteen year old Caelum Walkinshaw, and the odds are definitely against him. Will Caelum manage to swing them in his favor to survive the scorching desert he's been thrust into against 23 other kids and return home? Or will he become one of the hundreds of kids killed for Capitol entertainment? ------------------------- Hunger Games fanfiction. Full of OC's with some characters from the trilogy. Takes place before the events of the books/movies but I have done my best to be faithful to the canon of the Hunger Games universe. That is why I chose the 69th games. When I was thinking of this story, I imagined the arena in the desert. It was convenient that it is briefly mentioned in the book that the 69th Games took place in a desert so I decided I'd just set it then! The title is subject to change if I think of a better one. This is my first attempt ever at writing fanfiction so I would really appreciate any criticism and/or advice. Thank you.

A sleepless night follows into fearful morning. Our names could be the death of us as they spin in the bowl. Each and every girl and boy from ages 12-18 will swallow down their fear and hold their head up high. Hair preped, shoes tied. I'm one of those rich District 2 children. My father is the mayor of our small town so my name is only entered once. Although my family comes from a higher class I still am entered into the hunger games. "Lucy Heartfilia." My thoughts freeze as Im called up to the stage. I clench onto my necklace as I step onto the steps. One my one my breathing increases, my palms suddenly feel clammy and my head pulsates. I take the slip of paper and look down at all those lucky people below me. I can see sympathy transcribed into their boney little faces. Some mothers are crying and others just look at me and I can see in their eyes that they know they will never see me again. The ceremony is over. As am I. I wave goodbye to my little town.

Cato has just began the immensely demanding training programme in district 2. Living up to his brothers reputation is one thing but becoming a Victor, that's another altogether. Although he has his fair share of both attention and friends he doesn't feel like he really belongs there, even more so the mysterious dark haired girl with her knife skills that appear out of this world, She's unlike anything Cato has ever known. Could she be the key to his freedom or the very reason it doesn't exist? Find out about Cato and Clove's story... no copying my story!

Annabeth Chase has led a rough life and she is only 16 years old. She ran from her home when she was younger, fleeing to District Four where she met her boyfriend Percy Jackson. Together they made their way to District Twelve. They had been living without too much trouble with Greek monsters, or the government of Panem but now both are closing in fast. The Capitol has been becoming suspicious of some of the population of Panem, suspecting them of not being fully human, and Annabeth and Percy are part of the targeted citizens. _______________________________________________________ Thanks to Rick Riordan and Susanne Collins for some characters and settings and a little of the plot idea!
