I get to Serve in the Western part of the area. Really felt close to home because of the heat. The Church members were so welcoming and very helpful. So in Missionary terms "white wash" is called a companionship going into a new area. So basically we had to work from scratch in going about the area, switching to online area book and coping with mental breakdowns. One important lesson I learnt in my first month is the Power of Prayer, honestly I used to underestimate it however it has changed my perspective and now I need and say it everywhere I go or am about to do. Whether it can be outspoken or said within you. And I've seen the changes because of Prayer !
In addition, I was in a rollercoaster of emotions that was I felt like I couldn't do anything right, stressed, anxious, tired, felt like I didn't belong on the field. All those feelings ended when we went to visit a member she asked questions that was intriguing to the soul and on topics I had studied like 5 years ago , I said a prayer pleading for help to answer her questions I was overwhelmed by the spirit we answered questions that we didn't know we had in us along with those truths I learnt long ago . I Could see the truth enlightened her mind. That confirmed to that I'm here for a reason! We all are ! We have a role to play here on this earth. There are people Heavenly Father Prepares for us to share His Word and Help Save them. I have seen people thank us missionaries in choosing to Serve God, and that really boosted my confidence. We are a All here For a Reason.
