Like the other four Dragon Warriors, the Purple Dragon lived to serve the Crimson Dragon King. But unlike the four dragon warriors the purple dragon is unrelated to them but continues her duty to serve her king. She is said to have the tail of a mighty dragon. This grants her the power to fully shift into a full grown purple dragon. Not only that, she stole many hearts of those in the Kouka Kingdom. Including the Four dragon Warriors. But once their beloved King died , the warriors left the castle and went their separate paths. The Purple Dragon wandered to places where she could settle down and rest, but no matter where she went she was seen as a monster for her tail and her powers. She was hunted by villagers to be killed. Therefore, she was forced to live hidden in a cave near the mountains to stay hidden. She lived a very long life until the next Purple Dragon warrior was born, and the next, then the next. But when Yona comes seeking for the Five Dragon warriors, she stumbles upon a mysterious purple haired girl with a dragon tail. Akari Kishimoto was the daughter of a wealthy family. You would think the wealthy would be pampered. Not Akari though. She was always bullied because of the colors of her eyes. She visits her grandparents one day, and was given a gift. A book with the exact adventures of King Hiryūu as in Yona of the Dawn, the anime. When she returned, she got into a fight with her elder brother and parents. While holding the book in her arms, she wished that she could've lived in a different world. The book suddenly glowed and transported her to the world of Akatsuki No Yona?! She tags along with Yona and Hak as they journey to find the 4 other dragons. They meet new friends, new people, and discovered more to their world than just the palace. But Akari is left with a choice. Would she return to the life with her family? Or keep her life with her true family?
