The sky was painted dark.Very Dark with no bright stars.A gush of wind swirled past us making me inhale softly. The large man besides me leaned against the iron railing. His eyes fixed ahead of us as if seeing something that I couldn't. A lone tear slid down my cheek as I brushed it off rather harshly.Finding my voice I spoke softly remembering a distinct and beautiful memory, "After you left I once asked Mama when you would come back. She stayed silent for a minute and then she answered that when you'll miss me you'll be back" Another tear rolled down my cheek and this time I didn't brush it.My light brown eyes stared at his handsome face, seeing him look down at this hands. His face constricting into something I could not decipher. "And I was a fool to believe her that day because now I know I was the only one waiting. " My words were bitter but I whispered softly. Turning around I left leaving the man to his own thoughts. I loved and now I've lost myself in the lands of love. ... ✨ #1 in halallovestory on 10/30/2020 - 11/17/2020 ✨ "Were you ever, going to tell me about it? How can we be the same after all that's happened?" His shoulders relaxed and his features softened. He came towards me, his warm hands cupping my cheeks. It felt like years since I felt his warm hands on me, making me melt to his touch. "Why? Why didn't you tell me? Why did you hide things from me all this time? Wasn't I enough for you? Wasn't my love enough?" I stood there with my head low, not able to meet his eyes anymore as my eyes pooled with fresh tears. He moved back withdrawing his hands and stuffing them in his pockets and sighed. "It's done Momina. It's all over now." He said in a dead voice. I looked back at him, tears rolling down my face. I opened my mouth to speak, to defend myself and my actions, but his unnerving gaze had me shut up. With this, he turned around and left, not bothering to shut the door behind him. One is silently drowning beneath cultural expectations, hidden failure, and the fear of losing control over her future while trying to hold onto the values and faith that matter most to her. The other spent years lost before Islam gave him a second chance at peace. When their lives unexpectedly cross inside a hospital waiting room, neither realizes how deeply their presence will begin changing the other. Between culture, religion, family pressure, healing, and a slow-growing connection, both are forced to confront what truly matters before life chooses for them. _____________________ NOTE- Most of my photos are taken from Pinterest, so if the owners of the photos have any complaints or issues please let me know and I will remove them. ______________________ ***Author's Note*** Although parts of this story are fictional, the emotions behind it are real. The female main character is inspired by real experiences and emotions, while characters like Isa, Omer, and Yasmin were created through imagination and storytelling. Isa, however, came from a strange moment I still remember vividly - a quiet man working behind hospital doors during a late shift. We never spoke, yet something about the brief eye contact stayed with me long after. From that moment, a character slowly began forming in my mind. This story became more than romance. It became a reflection of longing, healing, faith, and the silent ways Allah places inspiration into our lives when we least expect it. I hope somewhere within these pages, you find comfort too. With love, Imani Vale

So when he meets Arisha Sumaiyah, whose golden-brown eyes bear strength and purity that he can't tear himself away from, Zeke begins to uncover something greater than he ever imagined. The deeper he looks, the more he realises, that her eyes reflect the beauty of her soul and peaceful demeanor despite having all odds stacked up against her. He thought he was falling in love with her and her heart, but the truth was far more profound - he was falling in love with the beauty of Islam.
