Mortal Tools. It was a cold, accurate term for what used to be called Heroes. The Bronze Age of Fame is as Ancient as Greece, having fallen when the Gods ran away from a terrifying new enemy - Romans. Succeeding where the Giants failed, the Roman Gods have had the Greeks on the run, fighting to survive from their own dark reflections.

EXCERPT:
"The Fleece was a gift from Poseidon to have his two kids saved from being sacrificed. One of whom fell off of the flying golden ram and died in the sea below. His surviving son killed the ram and sacrificed it to his father, getting the Golden Fleece as a gift to protect him in his new home of Colchis.
The Argo was built for a grandson of Zeus, whose grandmother was given by his mother to Hera to appease her birth, which hadn't been willing. That was why Hera had been so interested in him. Maybe this is Zeus, Poseidon or even Hera saying that they're sorry.
They might not have known the Golden Fleece was inside the ship and just let the ship sink."
"Would it kill the Gods to leave a note on their gifts?" I muttered, rubbing my temples. "I have a headache trying to figure this out."
"Olympus doesn't do simple Nik. Nothing with the Gods can ever be easy."
As Myia ran down the shore, waving to the Dolphins who were trailing after the Argo, I couldn't help but agree with Kon. My brother didn't know how right he was.
Hopefully, he wasn't right about everything.
Otherwise it meant I had just put myself into the care of someone who didn't want to help Olympus. Hades history with the other Gods was long and complicated. He seemed like Kon - like a responsible big brother.
"What about Selene? Do you really think she stole the Athena Parthenos to use it to make alter egos to end the Gods for betraying her and the other Mortal Tools? Jason, Herakles, Orpheus. What happened to her Mantle? What happened between her and Endymion?"
