Written from prompt #13 by Halloween Vault 2021: Nisha, an editor in a book publishing firm, pulls an all-nighter on Halloween night in order to finish her work in time for the deadline. She decides to take a break and meets a mysterious guy in the break room, who helps her finish her work. But when they plan to go out soon after, he disappears. Nisha must solve the mystery behind him before she meets the same end as her mysterious colleague.

Even in almost every corner of the school, they meet and chat about the same topic. Yeah, the Halloween effect was that bad that everyone was talking about it, except for me. In a dream of mine a week ago, I had a troubled, screaming nightmare in a monochrome world. Unfortunately, the horror happened in the real world. After that annoying incident, I had nightmares again that night. As expected, many nightmares happened again in the real world, and so on for days. Oh, I'm so curious. I don't know what the curse was. However, I must find a way to escape this curse! Hey, welcome to my first English short story posted on Wattpad! Rosita Radcliff doesn't believe in Halloween and the never-ending myths that come along.
