You, the reader, take on the role of Alexandria Jefferson, an abolitionist feminist who faces the challenges of being a woman in the 1800s, and the challenges of being the president's daughter.

Anna is just a normal girl who happens to be fascinated with the idea of reincarnation, right? As more of her friends have their revelations, she wonders if she will ever have one. But something about her is different. When she starts to have flashbacks, they seem to be from two very different perspectives. Who is she?
