Draco Malfoy had always been the epitome of pureblood arrogance, but after the fall of Voldemort, the weight of his choices crushed him. His father, once the towering figure of fear and control , now became more worse in abusing him as he unleashed his frustrations on Draco behind closed doors. Lucius Malfoy's cold cruelty spared no emotion, reminding Draco daily of his perceived failures-of how he hadn't been the perfect heir or loyal servant to the Dark Lord. School offered no good. The students at Hogwarts, from the war, looked at Draco with scorn and contempt. Whispers followed him in the hallways, hands shoved him against walls, and even professors offered no help, silently allowing his torment. The guilt devoured him, feeding himself the belief that he deserved every ounce of hatred and more. The war might have ended, but for Draco, the battle raged on inside. Draco felt embarrassed that he has to write in a stupid book about his emotions even more so that he was always writing about Harry Potter. Even though he always writes that he hates Harry.
