The wizarding world only saw him as an expendable pawn, his carefree attitude towards studying left him struggling to survive, and he had never truly appreciated the one, constant companion at his side-Hermione Granger. When Hermione Granger decides to give her life-long friend Harry Potter a check up since his line of work was rather dangerous, she discovers that the only real danger to him was his girlfriend Ginny Weasley.

Sirius Black is dead, Bellatrix Lestrange is escaping, Lord Voldemort is coming, and Harry Potter's whole world is collapsing. The closest thing he has to a father is gone, and his next confrontation with Lord Voldemort brings about new feelings for his best friend. But he couldn't fall for her could he? After all him and Hermione are just friends. Right?

Hogwarts. The place Harry yearned to spend time with his closest friends. Yet, as time passed, it grew harder to keep bonds from crumbling and friendships from falling apart. The world was changing. Voldemort was nearing. Hermione and Harry were falling in love.

Lily and James Potter where unquestionably the brightest and most powerful wizarding couple of their age. James' raw power complimented Lily's pure intelligence. So when it became known that Voldemort was after their baby. . . Events where set in motion that would affect not just the life of their son but also the life of their best friend Remus Lupin. A Ritual was created to unlock powers long thought dormant. A Spell born to give their child a chance in life. A Potion made to do the impossible. And thus the Alpha of Alphas was born.

Harry watched from the sidelines while Ron dated Hermione, falling for her quickly. But Ron made it clear that Hermione was his. But Hermione seems to want to pull away, and Harry starts to feel a small ray of hope... Could Harry end up with the girl of his dreams?

After the second wizarding war many lives were lost, friends, family, love ones and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was left in ruins. Many wondered if Hogwarts would ever be the same. Harry Potter did wonder if life could be happy despite all that's happened. Plagued daily with horrible nightmares of the past, Harry is constantly reminded of all the pain and death. But the nightmares get worse as he reluctantly returns with his friends Ron and Hermione to finish their seventh year. But upon returning to Hogwarts Harry does the unthinkable, after given the opportunity to switch houses, Harry is resorted into Slytherin feeling he had changed. While Draco Malfoy is re sorted into Gryffindor. Harry and Draco have to adjust to their new lives, as Draco discovers he can look past all his mistakes and finds friendship with some unlikely Gryffindors. Harry on the other hand losses his best friend Ron, along with many others, except Hermione who out a few to stays by Harry's side. Over time Harry and Hermione start forming a bond between each other, stronger then ever before, as Harry discovers reawakening feeling for his best friend. But as Harry's nightmares continue, getting worst by the day he will find he's changing more than he thought possible. Can Hermione save Harry from the darkness that still lies within him, or will she lose the real Harry forever. -Somehow my last description got deleted, so I had to rewrite it. I'm still terrible at writing summaries. -Warning mild language.

Poor boy made a mistake, and his angel left him. Cold and painful. But will she go back to him? will she save him once more? will she trust her life to him? We don't know that yet, one thing we know for sure, if he gets her back, he'll never ever let her go again. Lots of grammatical errors, sorry for that. Hope i'm doing good and don't dissapoint you. If this is acceptable, we can work out the other details as we go along as you seem to know more about our situation than we do." The Daily Prophet usually gets things so wrong. But sometimes, it gets things just right. Harry reads yet another article about him and Hermione dating and wondered why it wasn't true. Besides, isn't there a grain of truth behind every rumour?
