February 01, 2008 When the devil whispers blasphemies in your ear long enough, eventually you are bound to hear him say something that will peak your interest. So was the case this morning while I was proclaiming my faith in Jesus, God's only son, Satan tried once again to create doubt in my faith. The following is what he told me and therefore should not be believed, although it would make an interesting Hollywood movie.

This is my true account of my experience with what many would call "The Hat Man." Believe if you wish, or laugh at me, it makes no difference to me.

Vulnerability, it seems, is my latest form of self harm, so climb through the window and have a look around.

Red beating eyes coursing through your being with just a look. He watches you.... People have had said they have had experiences with the known "Hat Man". This is my story and how I have come to see him once upon a night.

GRAVITY FALLS: Hatman was there when no one else was. This is the origin story of Hatman. This is his life all leading up to that gas station. This story shows how Hatman got to the point where he unknowingly was being watched by over one thousand people. This is "Hatman: the Man Below the Hat."

There were lots of different people walking along the narrow, old path beside the river. Most of them were wearing hats, all kinds of different ones, mostly because this was the fashion of the day. He had never worn a hat himself. Maybe it was something he hadn't given enough time to think about. These days he was sure that the people looked at him strangely though. And some days, when he walked beside the flowing river and felt the breeze across his untidy hair, he felt awkward. So maybe he did need one... A Very Short Story... (how a lot of stories should be ?!)

Every night at 3:17 a.m., Jason wakes up unable to move. His body is frozen. His room is silent. And something is standing in the doorway. Tall. Dark. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat. At first, Jason thinks it's just sleep paralysis-a trick of the mind that happens when the brain wakes before the body. But the Hat Man moves closer each night. And sleep paralysis isn't supposed to leave footprints. Or whisper your name. Now Jason must figure out one terrifying truth: Is he waking up... Or is he still dreaming?
