Who knew Effie Trinket would be an rebel after all? Who knew she would find her self-confidence in times like these? The only ones who could have known were the people who were the clostest to her.

Coraline Abernathy's life isn't worth anything, she has nothing to loose anymore - well, that's what she thinks.

Haymitch has been informed that he has to accompany Effie on this trip and reacts as if he's just been sentenced to death. Meanwhile Effie is already planning outfits and schedules and train activities while Haymitch contemplates throwing himself off the platform before departure. Neither of them realizes they're about to spend several days trapped together in a snowstorm. How will their feelings change when they start to learn everything about eachother?

District 13 is a mess, and young Effie and Haymitch are fleeing with their families to District 12. Sparks fly between the two teens, but then everything is ruined when Haymitch is reaped for the Quarter Quell and Effie's family is captured and taken to the Capitol. A fic based on the 50th hunger games, following Haymitch Abernathy When the stakes are higher and the amount of tributes are doubled will Haymitch be able to endure and survive the most horrific game he's ever played? Effie trinket starts off her reaping day like any other day only she doesn't know how her life is going to change forever in one split second. Effie maybe from district 1 but she is forced into the 75th hunger games the quarter quell to represent district 12 by her over powering Father President snow. Effie Trinket finds herself falling for a certain tribute from the wrong side of the tracks in the middle of the hunger games .The Two households both a like in dignity with years of family rivalry behind them. Effie and Haymitch are they willing to fight to stay together or even kill for each other? even if their only love springs from their only hate. (This is kind of like Romeo and Juliet but with a hunger games twist to it)

The games have just begun. . .

Haymitch was reaped in the second quater quell--a quell with 100% more tributes. While trying to live, forming alliances and falling for a tribute, Haymitch knows he's going to win. He's going to win, and there's no exception. This is my interpretation of the 50th Hunger Games. I hope you enjoy!

After reading Sunrise on the Reaping, I decided I wanted to write a Fanfiction about the surviving characters after Mockingjay experiencing a happy ending while also grappling with the new Panem and what the legacy of the Hunger Games ought to look like 5 years after the revolution.

The rebellion is over, Snow and Coin are dead. This is how Haymitch remembers finding Effie in the Capitol and decides that he can't lose her again. Two-part story.

It takes 10 times longer to put yourself back together than it does to fall apart.

All I ever wanted was to protect my family and I couldn't even do that. Even now, with Snow dead, my loved ones are in danger and the life I had struggled for years to build, my beautiful and peaceful life, was threatened, because of me. How could one mistake cause this much pain? Now the people of Panem struggle to keep their newfound freedom from the one person they once trusted to protect it, because of me. I should have killed Coin when I had the chance.
