this is a short story , My contribution to the #HBDImtiyazAli film companion . please do read and share as much as to can to as many people as you can . jorden a heartbroken international rockstar, who now believes that love is no more the feeling that he would want to go through , and determined to spend his life as a cold hearted rockstar because he now starts to believe that love is nothing but the mere sentiment that only gives pain and suffering . geet freshly graduated from college , she is everything opposite to what he is . she's life loving , livly and just loves the idea of falling in love . what will happen when the two meet ? will geet be able to change his heart? will he be able to love again ? and most importantly will he be able to move on from the his past ? **** he tightly gripped my arms leaving his fingers printed on them "look at me " he commanded coldly . who does he think he is , to talk to me like that rockstar or not , I will not let anyother man control me or my feelings anymore . "leave " I said glaring at him , giving him my best scowl . suddenly his eyes started to change , there wasn't rage in them anymore ,I couldn't put my finger on it was it pity? sadness? I decided to put those emotions aside and focus on the anger that is building within me I fought out of his grip with a scream "who do you think you are , coming into my life out of nowhere and bossing me around?! let me remind you something mister, I am not one of your 'women' to fall under your traps , so LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE" I finished causing him to raise his eyebrow without giving him time to respond I turned and started walking towards the door , shutting it behind me with a slam . [WINNING ENTRY] On a regular day of Mumbai life, Ved, an average employee running late for office had to share the autorickshaw with Geet, a sikhni from Bhatinda who was also running late but for her train and 'life mein ek train nahi chhuti' uski. Geet couldn't stop talking all through the ride whereas Ved didn't speak. After telling her whole life story even when no one asked her to, Geet asked Ved to share his story. What happened when a man living the robotic life set by the society, who is told what he should be and what he shouldn't be and what he really is, struggling and concealing his true identity is asked 'kaun ho tum' by a girl who is full of life and doesn't give a damn about the society or what it thinks? Who does everything she wants and lives by her own rule as 'Zindagi' is her favorite game! What happened when the man who didn't want to speak a word was asked to share his story? His Kahaani..?

Geet and Gautam, two notes of varying pitches meet on the highway. Gautam is saved from an accident and Geet heads towards a new chapter of her life. Will the two pitches form the right Geetam?

This is my heartfelt tribute to Imtiaz Ali for bringing such interesting characters to life with his movies. They weren't just movie characters for us, they became our best friends for life!
