This wasn't my head voice, so who the hell was it?' Wakefield wasn't always a quiet and peaceful town. A hundred years ago most of its residences died from a vampire attack, well at least that's how the story goes. The history books say some people got a disease that sent them into cannibalism. Yeah right. It's the present day and Mercy Donald is struggling to find a reason for life while her friends party till dawn. A strange force has come to Wakefield and brought some interesting creatures with it, that aren't all good. When Mercy faces death she realizes that she's not some normal teenage girl and that her previous experience with death left her with extraordinary powers. Powers that come with a cost.

A poem about the chaos of the noise and the lost voices out there.

I'll just say quickly, these are poems I wrote, some years ago, some recently. You can probably tell where I am emotionaly and what frame of mind I am in. Like the title says, some are dark and others light, it would depend on my mood and what was going on around me. These are 100% from my life and things I went or are going through. I am doing better but, I wanted to share, again maybe it will help someone. To know they aren't alone in the world even though sometimes it does feel like it.
