Recently there has been a trend of games taking the approach that rng is fun for the simple sake of it, because random is fun and fun is random.....obviously..... Is RNG appropriate in competitive games? when, and why?

Blitzen and Hearthstone have been friends for a very long time, like two years. But when they start to develop feelings for each other Magnus and Sam start to notice. Hearth is extremely scared of his feelings so he tries to push them down as much as he can. Blitzen just stays happy that he can be friends with Hearth, even if it was nothing else. (Magnus ships it.)

After Hearthstone and Blitzen's long servitude towards Mimir comes to an abrupt end, they still find themselves in and out of homeless shelters until they can scrounge up enough money to get a place of their own. One night while Blitz is working late in the shop, Hearth finds himself face to face with some disgruntled visitors at the shelter, taking one of his most important assets. Blitz does everything he can to bring his broken elf back to health. (I have been obsessed with the Magnus Chase series recently and have been basking in Blitzstone fluff. I thought I could put my own spin on the characters. I do not own any rights to the characters in this story, and I do not remember the artist of the cover image. Im sorry!!
