Heathens tells the stories of the folk living and working in the warehouses and factories of the fictional town of Sedgemere Heath. Set against a backdrop of the Black Country pubs and social clubs where its author grew up, Heathens is a collection of short stories tied together by the escapades of a group of unlikely heroes. Fuzz is welcomed into her working life by Roy, a man who claims to have been a secret agent, world-class footballer and rock star before ending up among the pens and protractors of a stationery depot. Heathens is a story of struggle, fulfilment and the importance of hanging on to your dreams. Most of all, though, it's about the never-ending battle to secure an elusive blue pallet.

A girl moves back to her childhood town called 'Hometown' and things have changed. People have only now been telling myths of monsters that can take form of people and copy there voices.. but to do that they have to do a certain thing to the human they are coping. One night a group of friends come together to see if this myth is true. On there investigation they notice people going missing and weird activity happening in the forest. After all... the earth has a heart to. (I took the photo in the cover. Yes I edited it).
