Scar's stressed about the Turf War, and Grian even more so. An unlikely admiration blossoms when the two leaders realise how similar they really are. The Turf War keeps them separate, but their love for each other brings them together. This is only a first draft (and my first fanfiction) so I will possibly be working things out to edit this story to its full potential. That being said, if you're alright with the few plot holes and old writing, feel free to read it as is for now! The Turf War was over, and the Mycelium Resistance won fair and square. Someone was having none of it. Hardly hours after the winners are declared, the Resistance finds themselves trapped in the HEP's clutches. There's something off about the enemy team and something more dangerous behind their suddenly cruel ways. It's up to the Resistance, aided by allies along the way and hindered by both physical and mental wounds, to find whatever it is and stop it before it reaches too far past HEP and claims the world they love.
