This Book Follows the childhood of Y/n and Violet Carter, Y/n is 12 and Violet is 5years old, They grew up horribly, their Mom and Dad would scream at them, throw glass, lock them in closets. severely abused to the point where they would never be happy or laugh, whenever someone would pass by they would flinch or cry. But as soon as Y/n turned 13 she left following her dreams of singing and acting leaving 6 year old Violet behind and She promised Violet she would be back for her.

I know one day we all die, but I have this crippling fear of my little brother dying because of the choices he is making with his life. This is nothing more than me coping with that fear after he wound up in the hospital on death's door.
