Will and Jem. All chapters are disconnected and can be read in any order. I don't own any of the characters that right is entirely Cassandra Clare's.

Kit had always preferred to be alone. His family consisted only of his father and him. And even then, his father was away all the time. Ty Blackthorn came from a large family, seven children, and an uncle, even though he was practically insane. Ty grew up in the institute, surrounded by family, and other personnel that he was close to. Kit had grown up in the basement of a shack in downtown LA. Ty is the only one that understands Kit's need for solitude, especially after watching his father get murdered by demons. Kit is the only who understands Ty's autism. They call themselves even. / set after QOAAD but Livvy didn't die.

Will Herondale is a completely closed off, depressed 17 year old boy. All his life he's worked on building walls around himself, never letting anyone in. Plus, he's in love with his best friend, James "Jem" Carstairs. Jem is calm and accepting. He's oblivious to Will's feelings for him, and always sticks by Will's side, no matter how frustrating it gets. Ever since they became friends, he's been trying to knock down Will's walls. When he finally succeeds, how will he react to Will's dark secrets? *in journal format from Will's point of view*

When Jem is gone, Will turns to Magnus for comfort and soon begins to see him in an entirely new light... Will/Magnus oneshot with a hint of Heronstairs.

Some ideas I had while listening to the songs I put in each chapter/drabble. Every chapter is a different song with a different story (not really, they're based mostly on Jem dying. I don't know why I'm obsessed with him dying. It's ironic considering he's my favorite character). Anyway, they all center around the same OTP ~Heronstairs~ For foreign songs, the lyrics will be in English throughout the stories. Obviously, some lyrics will be changed to fit whatever I'm going for and find appropriate for that story. Feel free to recommend/suggest songs. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the songs used nor do I own Heronstairs.

A short, simple Heronstairs story I wrote for English class. There's angst and pain, kisses and forbidden love, all the good stuff. Hope you all enjoy! I don't own these characters, (except for Icelyn!) I don't own the cover picture, either, (but it's really cute.)
