I saw that you were perfect, And so I loved you.
Then I saw that you were not perfect, And I loved you even more. ~Anahira Raghuvanshi

They say childhood crushes fade with time, that puppy love is fleeting and easily forgotten. But what if it doesn't?
What if that tiny crush grows with every passing year, turning into hope, heartbreak, and a love you cannot seem to escape?
This is the story of Anahira Raghuvanshi-a cherished, soft-hearted girl who grew up surrounded by love. The kind of girl who would give away her entire garden just because someone once mentioned the idea of giving her a flower.
At the age of ten she remembered being helped by a boy when she had lost her way.
He helped her find her brother, and she thought she'd never see him again.
Two years later , she did.
Turns out he was in same school as her brother and actually became his best friend , the two were Deskmates and shared the same dorm room that her brother barely went to. He was kind to her almost like a saviour who appeared whenever she was in trouble.
And somewhere along the way between those random meetings , she fell in love.
In every way a girl can fall for a boy.
Years passed, but nothing changed. While her feelings deepened, he continued to see her as the little girl he felt responsible for protecting.
Even when she entered college, she remained, in his eyes, someone precious to care for-not someone to love.
He treated her like a glass doll. Calm , protective and someone who notices her tiniest of her discomfort.
And every act of tenderness only made her fall harder and it was now impossible to move on.
As a college student, Anahira found herself hoping for the impossible , that perhaps this time, she wasn't the only one falling .
