Leon is a Captain of the Ocrenian army who has been assigned to find and capture the Eskorian spy. Both have a dark past related to the war and wants it to end. This didn't change much as they grew up. But a little mishap at a river bank forces those two to marry. Hilal running a settlement house and Leon being a succefull cotton-millowner only adds to the conflicts and misunderstandings between these two.
