The door opens at Bilbo's, and standing there are two dwarves, Fili and Kili. A strange sparkle glints in Kili's eyes and she longs to figure it out. She also discovers her many new talents and skills as a warrior and a person considering her abnormal lineage. Join Iridian and the Company through Middle Earth, in a new spin on the Hobbit. "What can we do for you?" he asked. "Can you tell me where I am?" I asked, sounding stupid. He and the other person threw each other looks of confusion. I felt so stupid and humiliated. They looked like I had lost my mind. I gazed down at my socks, desperately wishing I would wake up or the ground to swallow me whole. I still wasn't convinced this was real. It has to be a dream, only in a dream would I be taller than a fully grown man. "You're in the shire," the one with the paler hair asked. "Are you lost?" the other one asked. "Yes," I said, sounding breathless. "I woke up in those trees and I have no idea where am I- wait did you say the shire?" Rosalie Kindrick finds herself completely out of her depth when she wakes up in Middle Earth. Forced to adapt to times far different from her own, she joins Thorin Oakenshield's Company in a desperate bid to find her way home. Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. At a young age she decided she would give her life purpose by swearing an oath to protect the Falmari people, she would become a warrior and fight alongside her brother to protect her people from the threats of middle earth. A routine patrol escalated and Aearon soon found herself separated from her brother and the rest of the Teleri forces, pursuing a group of dark creatures that tormented her lands. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. Either way, she will do whatever it takes to keep her word and help her friends while avoiding another stay in King Thranduil's dungeon, much to his displeasure. After Erebor was reclaimed, and the battle of the five armies was through, Thorin and the rest of the Dwarves took back their home and not after long, all of the Dwarves who were ran out by Smaug came back and Erebor was as if it was never taken. Due to everything getting back to normal, the Dwarves height had to match the work and environment even more. One day, a ranger finds her way to the City of Dale, just South-East of the Lonely Mountain, after receiving an anonymous letter from someone saying they want to talk to her about work. Who she ends up working for, or with, becomes something no one would have ever thought it would.
