Elise is a struggling actor just trying to get by in the big city of Toronto. It isn't until one day, when she meets the most beautiful girl in her acting class, that she begins to understand her purpose: she was made for loving her. Laura had always hated the night. She thought it was beautiful, sure. But only when she knew there was no one out there planning to kill her. She didn't love it the same way Carmilla did. She liked appreciating it from afar. Carmilla loved everything about it. Maybe their differences made them like each other, maybe it was something else.
