This short based on a true story! My dad is not an accepting fellow. I'm scared to talk to him. He's... himself. In this short we talk about something that, normally, I wouldn't have trouble talking about. I didn't necessarily stand up for my truth, but I learned the truth. How Dad really felt. What would it do to me? Does it hurt? I guess the truth always does...

Limited to 500 Words Taught to be dismissive of those less fortunate from a young age, born into a rich family with influence across Europe, Divus one day discovers that all is not as it seems. He uncovers from a letter that all that is his actually belongs to his indentured servant, Filia. Now, he must decide whether or not he will conceal the truth and enable his lavish lifestyle, or bring justice to the innocent slave girl and offer her information that will grant her authority over the manor.

Everyone thinks the truth is always good or bad: simple as that. The 'truth' usually cloaks itself, and when it comes out, pandemonium ensues, followed by tears, or in a rare case: a happy ending. A happy ending is something foreign in my life. What if the truth conducts hard decisions? To look in the eyes of someone evil?
