My full name is Iota Carinae Aquila Black which is a bit of a mouth full so people just call me Black or Iota for family and friends. Though I only have one friend, my mother died years ago and I never knew my father so not many call me that. My one and only friend is 2 years younger than I am and goes by the name Eren Fleamont Potter. Yes, indeed. Fleamond, what a funny name right? Well like I'm one to talk, I'm named after starts. Anyway, this was supposed to be my fourth year at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in North America. But there was this crazy guy, who introduced himself as Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, who came by and told us we were about to transfer to a different school; Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Scotland.

Welcome to Ilvermorny, the North American school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The year is 2009 and it has been 11 years since the defeat of the Dark Lord. America had seemed untouched by the turmoil of the darkness hanging over the world of magic in the old world. The world had thought that all was safe again with the Dark Lord and Death Eaters defeated. But that is not the entire truth for Voldemort had a young apprentice, one who followed without hesitation. But the boy didn't follow blindly for he could see that Voldemort would fall and that he thought he could become so much more. So the boy left for America in 1998, just before the battle. He left to start the work that Voldemort hand not yet completed. This brings us to the story of a young child, a girl, unknown to the burden to rest on her shoulders.

What I think modern Ilvermorny is like.

Sarah is the half blood daughter of a wizard known as Alexander Monroe and a No-Maj called Mary Monroe. she lives in Detroit, Michigan and her entire life has been built as if she wasn't magic, her world is about to change, however. Meanwhile, Sarah's best friend who had moved to Phoenix, Arizona months prior to the events of this story, was a pure blood. Her name was Isabela Gonzalez. Her father was a wizard called Antonio Gonzalez and her mother was Delores Gonzalez. The Gonzalez family is one of the biggest, most known wizarding families in Arizona. What will happen when the two friends reunite? Read this story to find out! Note: this story does take place in modern day America in the American school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Ilvermorny. The school's idea and look are all from JK Rowling, although all of the character are my own except for the Pukwudgies wondering the grounds of the school ❤ Writer's note: the story begins when Sarah and Isabela first started receiving the letters when both Sarah and Isabela lived in Mexico, meaning they both speak both English and Spanish. I'm not fluent in Spanish myself, so if I mess anything up please don't be offended, it's probably because I will be using Google Translate to translate it to Spanish.

The Violets can trace their time all the way back to the founding of Ilvermorny, and almost all of them have been attending the school since. It's a common cycle: a new Violet arrives, gets sorted into the Horned Serpent house, gets chosen by a Walnut wand, and graduates. But when Lewyn Violet arrives at the fabled school hoping to continue his family's legacy, something starts to change. Ancient forces older than Isolt Sayre herself start to move, and seem to be originating from the curious snakewood tree on the castle grounds. Ilvermorny will be pushed to the brink, with Lewyn Violet at the center of it all. And all his family can seem to care about is that he was sorted into Thunderbird.

all about me and my family

It's been sixteen years since the fall of Voldemort and the Ministry of Magic has put great effort into healing the wounds left in the world by the dark wizards and an exchange program is one of their latest efforts. A group of friends, four sixth-years from Ilvermorny find themselves at Hogwarts just in time for there to be strife amongst the Hogwarts students.
