Arya loves her family and would do anything for them, even Sansa. She notices Joffrey hurting her but Sansa would never admit to it. She loves her sister dearly but won't show it, she takes it upon herself to give Sansa some relief of Joffrey's misbehavior and would do anything to protect her. Arya takes Sansa's place, and faces Joffrey in her own.
