On a bustling, snow-covered day in the city, fifteen-year-old Kaito heads out with his closest friends, Sora and Lily, looking forward to a warm, comforting lunch together. As they walk through the busy streets, chaos suddenly unfolds: a young girl stands unknowingly in the middle of the road, her mother distracted and unaware of the danger. A massive truck barrels toward her, fast and out of control. While everyone around freezes or screams in horror, Kaito doesn't hesitate. So your probably thinking, this is just another love story, right ? Well it's a love story, but through the eyes of person who has a chronic illness. Let's just say that things with this chronic illness well just sucks. Okay I'm just getting ahead of myself and talking. Anyways, let me introduce myself, my name is Jane Oliver. Haru was the residential school bookworm, rarely did he ever speak to someone that was not interested in either literature or swimming. He was referred as cold-hearted and self-centered and others never actually got to know his personality before giving him a label. He was practically a nobody. A loner.
