She asks, dragging her finger along his scar running from one side of his mouth to the other. "Sometimes," He replies, gently taking her finger from his mouth and grasping her hand in his. "Sometimes the memories, the nightmares, kill me more than the pain." He says gently, watching her face grow sad.

As she realized he wouldn't go away she continued to walk faster and faster as she kept turning back to see if he was still following.
