Thirteen years after meeting for the first time MC and Jake meet again but this time MC has a huge secret she's been keeping. Will Jake ever forgive her? Will they ever be able to move past this? Will they finally have their happy ever after?

MC and Jake have been offered a deal: Infiltrate a dangerous cyber terrorist and gather cruical evidence against him in return for their freedom. But nothing is ever that simple, is it? This story based on the mobile game Duskwood by Everbyte. Three months ago I received a text message from an unknown number, that's how I became part of a group in Duskwood, a place I never knew existed, searching evidence for a lost girl named Hannah Danfort. And I think I'm in love with someone I've never met, whose face I've never seen, whose voice I've never heard. I only know he is a hacker in run , wanted by the government. His name is Jake. (Nym-0s ) "What does the name stands for?" "A lot. For two souls that are coincidentally but eternally connected." ......................... This is a fanfiction about the 'Duskwood' game by Everbyte. The story begins after the end of the last episode when Hannah was found and the connection with Jake was lost. If you have never played the game there will be spoilers , so you'll know what the game is about. If you have played the game , then you know about the hacker guy, Jake. When Jake and MC break up they start to date other people but are soon drawn back to each other. Can they just stay friends or will they fall back into each others arms

Hannah is found. However his relief is short-lived as he realises that his pursuers have now caught wind of the people he has gotten involved with. He knows they won't inflict any harm upon them as they do not know much about him but he knows they are getting closer. His past haunts him as he dreams for a life he knows he cannot afford to be in. He must prove his innocence. Longing conjures into determination and he ensures that the person he holds dear is safe: MC L/N. The game of cat and mouse continues. One thing is certain: Jake Donfort can never get close to the light, otherwise his shadow would become visible...

The final battle against the man without a face is just around the corner. Who's going to win? A draw is not contemplated. Will the group be able to save Hannah Donfort? Will the main character succeed in the victory without losing anyone she cares about? This is the story of how a message can radically change a life, and create indissoluble bonds, for better or for worse. A thriller story shrouded in mystery and fear, high tension, but permeated by friendship and love at the same time.
