Iamjake Stories

Post episode 10, and picks up immediately after the end of the game. This is going to be a slow burn featuring Jake x f!MC. It is going to be as faithful as I can make it to the events of the game, which also means taking as realistic an approach as possible to the psychological ramifications of what happened to each of the characters. So this won't be a fluff piece, but neither will it wallow in its own misery. It just won't make light of, or be cavalier to, the tremendous trauma that the characters have endured throughout the game. I have tried quite hard to ensure that there is as little immersion loss as possible with my version of the f!MC, so it is my hope that you will be able to have her be whomever she is in your head (to a degree). The MC's name will never be said as I personally find that even using the titular MC or y/n is still jarring, and I will try to keep descriptions of her to as generic a feel as possible without inadvertently causing said immersion loss as it makes you wonder what Jake ever saw in such a basic bitch. The descriptions of Jake have been lifted from what little information we are given in game about him, with a little artistic liberty to describe how I see him in my mind's eye. Because I love my boy Jake and there is no way that I can write a story about him without describing the fuck out of him. Submitted for your approval. I hope that you enjoy.

Ignoring the pain on her shoulder, she kept a firm grip of the pistol. Pointing it at the two man, she kept a safe distance from them. Face contorted in pain as sweat rolls down from the scalp of her head. She feels hot and cold at the same time. Left alone without Lilly or Cleo, she was left to ponder her current circumstance. Not explicit in content. Sickeningly sweet, fluffy, and hopeful. Can be read in order or in any order you like. MC isn't named or described to feel more like the game. I will also add my DanxMC one shot to this collection as it doesn't fit anywhere else and it's pure fluff.

Or will it end before it even has a chance to really begin? This story takes place directly after the ending of the popular phone detective texting game Duskwood. While some things from the game will be hinted at, the vast majority of the plot of the game has not been included in this fanfiction. This fanfiction should be read by mature audiences, while there are not actual explicit scenes in this book the characters are in the mid to late twenties and some content may not be for you if you are under the age of 18.

MC has been in a slump lately, life has been dull and she's got nothing to fill it but bad memories and burned bridges. Six months. Six long months since that night in the mine, since the fire, since the last time she read it. Intrigued by the events and even people related to it, she decides to enter the case and find this girl, which leads her to paths deeper than anyone could ever imagine. !!!!Brief explanation: As some of you might have noticed, the story is based on the game "Duskwood", which means the main ideas, story and characters ARE NOT mine (except for Vanysh and some others). So, the general credits belongs to everbyte and all of their creators. Another important thing is: some things that will happen are the same from the game's original story, but other's were invented by me. My intention is to give the story another perspective besides the "Main Character" that we interpret while playing (And I started writing this before chapter 9 was released). *The portuguese version can be found at my profile*
