#HandsUpDontShoot #MemphisCantBreathe #BlackLivesMatter This was my response to the recent reckless actions of those sworn to protect and serve our "great" nation. RIP to Ezell Ford, Eric Garner, Michael Brown; as well as Trayvon Martin and Kendrick Johnson who were not murdered by police officers but influenced me all the same. There is a growing state of anarchy in our country. This poem is called hysteria due to the genuine fear and unrest myself and many others feel. We're afraid to even go outside at this point. This is not meant to offend anyone, its just how I vented. Love, Peace, and Kindness yall. xoxo Britt❀

I've decided to start a separate poem book for the heartbreak and brokenness I am experiencing in the world's current situation. The midwest of the United States is suffering in chaos especially, as well as places all over the nation and all over the world. Friends, please be taking care of yourself mentally and physically. Take some time for yourself. Take a break from social media. Reach out to loved ones. Write your thoughts down. Make sure you are eating and hydrating. Do things that make you happy and are good for you. Stay safe and healthy. You are loved more than words on paper β™‘ 5/31/2020
