One is silently drowning beneath cultural expectations, hidden failure, and the fear of losing control over her future while trying to hold onto the values and faith that matter most to her.
The other spent years lost before Islam gave him a second chance at peace.
When their lives unexpectedly cross inside a hospital waiting room, neither realizes how deeply their presence will begin changing the other.
Between culture, religion, family pressure, healing, and a slow-growing connection, both are forced to confront what truly matters before life chooses for them.

***Author's Note***
Although parts of this story are fictional, the emotions behind it are real.
The female main character is inspired by real experiences and emotions, while characters like Isa, Omer, and Yasmin were created through imagination and storytelling.
Isa, however, came from a strange moment I still remember vividly - a quiet man working behind hospital doors during a late shift. We never spoke, yet something about the brief eye contact stayed with me long after. From that moment, a character slowly began forming in my mind.
This story became more than romance. It became a reflection of longing, healing, faith, and the silent ways Allah places inspiration into our lives when we least expect it.
I hope somewhere within these pages, you find comfort too.
With love,
Imani Vale
