I remember everything about Alex Hansen. He was most definitely my first love, I thought it would always be that way. We had the kind of relationship that people were jealous of, the lovey dovey kind. We had a fast moving relationship, we kissed on our second date, but that was the pace that we wanted to move in. Alex wasn't only sweet to me, he was so beautiful and talented. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to be with him. He was the star baseball player, while I sat on the sidelines and cheered him on after my track practices. He had the most mesmerizing blue eyes, I loved looking into them until I melted. His hair was always buzzed, but I remember he once grew it out and you just wanted to touch his soft waves. I loved him. Alex got into a car accident. Alex was driving and I can't believe how stupid I was to not tell him to put on his seatbelt. I remember seeing the truck, it's bright headlights shined in my eyes. The lights must have shined into Alex's eyes too, because he swerved out of the lane and into the ditch. We rolled and rolled. I was in shock, I don't remember crying or screaming. I just sat there as Alex toppled around in the car. We finally came to a stop and I passed out. I couldn't ever forgive myself. Alex dying was my fault.
