It's a normal day for the Avengers. Yeah, that was a lie. They were busting a Chinese Black Market. Isn't that the job of the police? Yeah. Did Fury care? No. However, when Tony catches a glimpse of a teenage boy, strung up like a piñata, the Avengers are in for one hell of a shock. Fighting aliens? Easy shit. They all knew that Xiao, despite his appearance, was slowly yet surely showing more signs that he was...happy? Maybe it was the crisp fall air, or even being able to hide out in his dad's classroom (Mister Zhongli, who taught Geology). No matter what the excuse was, Xiao's friends all knew the truth. But what would happen when Xiao would realize the truth for himself? If you've made it this far, you'll likely enjoy the story of how one emo king learns what the world is truly like with the help of new and old friends.
