WATTPAD ORIGINAL EDITION When her initiation into her college's History Club goes awry, Sol has to come face to face with Ethan-the cute guy whose house she just broke into. ***** Soledad Gutierrez, or Sol to her friends, decides to join the History Club at her Community college. However, this club is not like other clubs: they have an initiation process and a slew of other 'extracurricular activities.' In order to join the club, Sol must break into the oldest house in her small Californian town and steal one of their forks. The club members provide all the materials to break in; she just needs to take the utensil, take a selfie in the kitchen, and get out undetected-with the fork, of course. The problem is: Ethan Winston spots Sol in his grandparent's house, and he's determined to uncover the reason behind the break-in. However, both he and Sol are thrown for a loop when feelings begin to develop between them. And as Ethan becomes suspicious of the History Club, he and Sol get tangled in an adventure none of them were expecting. WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION. It only takes one moment to change your life forever . . . After her mother's deportation last year, all Soledad "Sol" Gutierrez wants is for her life to go back to normal. Everything's changed-new apartment, new school, new family dynamic-and Sol desperately wants to fit in. When she joins her community college's history club, it comes with an odd initiation process: break into Westray's oldest house and steal . . . a fork? There's just one problem: while the owners of the house aren't home, their grandson Ethan is, and when he catches Sol with her hand in the kitchen drawer, she barely escapes with the fork intact. This one chance encounter irrevocably alters her life, and Sol soon learns that sometimes fitting in isn't as important as being yourself-even if that's the hardest thing she's ever had to do.

Life's not always as perfect as it seems in films. No, I'm not Kat Stratford (though I wish to be) and no, my family trauma doesn't run as deep as Jude Duarte. But life's life, you've just got to deal with it. Maybe sometimes you fail yourself, and other times you fails others. But who cares? Fuck it, shit happens. I've just decided to post stories from my childhood that mostly happened to me, and sometimes my friends. And whoever manages to pick this up (among so many others), I really hope you enjoy it. And if you're ever having a bad day, just remember there's someone out there who's pushing a door that says pull. NOTE:All pictures in the cover have been taken my me, and belong to me.

All Ren wants is to be left alone. After withdrawing ten years ago to leave someone-- or something-- behind, Ren has lived alone in her cabin. Nobody to see her. Nobody to talk to her. Nobody to use her. But when a strange girl shows up at her doorstep and refuses to leave, Ren is forced to come back into life and face the world she left behind-- for better or worse. All Piya wants is to be an adventurer! Twelve years old with only her lute and the clothes on her back, Piya Nightclaw is a young bard with a big voice. She's going to make her name known, and going on huge adventures is the perfect way to do it! Unfortunately, her skill won't take her far if nobody will give her a chance. But she's gotten as far as she has by being good at what she does and refusing to listen to naysayers, and she's not about to stop. When she finds her way to a grizzled old woman living in the woods, she's thrilled-- a retired adventurer! And she's going to mentor Piya whether she likes it or not! All Tok wants is to feel safe... He did, once. Kinda. Sorta. But since the day he escaped to the surface, his entire life has turned upside down. After being captured by siren hunters and saved by a small adventuring party, he ends up traveling with them, hoping to reach a city where he can finally be protected. But the past has a way of creeping back in... Has he really escaped what he ran away from? And what happens if his past comes for his new companions? For fans of Dungeons and Dragons and other fantasy RPGs, Starsong is the story of a rag-tag party from wildly different lives, brought together by a search for stability and life. But, of course, life isn't that easy, not when you get involved in magic deals, traps, and even conspiracy along the way... -- Notes: This content the maturity of a middle-grade novel, and as such, I kindly ask all readers to refrain from swearing or inappropriate speech while commenting. She arrives in Canada with a suitcase, a temporary visa, and a language she cannot fully use. What she carries instead are memories she does not speak of - imprisonment, torture, and the quiet knowledge of how close she came to disappearing. He was supposed to be on the ice. A shattered knee ended his career, leaving him on the sidelines, coaching children and learning how to live with loss. They notice each other without words. When her visa begins to expire, a marriage between two strangers becomes the only way to stay. What starts as survival turns into something neither of them planned - a bond built in routines, silences, and fragile trust. Set against the cold of Canadian winters, this novel is a story of displacement, injury, and love that grows without permission - and of the language two people create when words are no longer enough.

A fake engagement saved my visa. Jack and I decided to fool U.S. immigration with a perfectly planned lie. After all, we had worked together for three years. He was my subordinate. I thought I knew him. I thought I was in control. I was wrong. The closer the investigation got, the closer we became-and the faster everything spiralled out of control. Somewhere between fake introductions and stolen moments, I realised the real danger wasn't getting caught. It was falling for the man who held my future in his hands.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single woman in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a husband." Wait, that's not quite right. Malak, for one thing, does not have a good fortune, at least not the finanial kind. Still, she always felt like she had it all, though some would argue that point, especially distant relatives. But she just made tenure, upgraded to Yamaha bike with that bonus check, and most importantly, the adoption process has been finalized and she was the proud mother of the 15 year old Noor, after fostering for five years. But most people back home, all they can see is a established but single Muslim woman in her 30s in desperate need of a man, who doesn't put enough effort to get married, and selfishly chose to have a child on her own. Over the years, she's avoided potential blind dates like cooked meat on Eid morning, but deep down, she wasn't sure she could get past her belief that love and marriage weren't in her 'qadar' file. Still, nothing is ever as it seems, and when it comes to love, Malak knows better than most, that it is best not to be blind.
