Hermit City is a city of heroes and villains, and Grian is one of its most reliably factual and truthful reporters. So reliable, in fact, that the Heroes' Association values him and his reports enough that they assigned him a bodyguard: HotGuy himself! Grian and Scar have been doing this for years, now, and their relationship is more than just that of bodyguard and charge. It might even be more than just a friendship! Their time to explore and find out what they are to each other is cut short when Grian starts investigating the famous Pearl Moon case, and Scar isn't there to protect him.

They decided on peace over fighting, and the Watchers weren't happy. They decided upon a new form of torture: attachment. Time still ticked down for them, so the Watchers thought it would be interesting to send them something they'd never watch grow up: a child. They loved their new children dearly, but knew they couldn't be there with them for most of their lives. Until Grian discovered that the children had infinite time, but only one life. He found a way to get his child to send him time so he could live longer. He shared this with the other players, and they've been almost immortal ever since. The only catch was they couldn't take too much time off of their children without them getting close to death. Grian became a Timekeeper, and all the other players began working to raise their kids and make a new civilisation, a new way of life. Luckily, the Watchers were still entertained. The rest of the players? They won't be entertained much longer.

Hermitcraft and Life Series members wake up in the world of minecraft with no way out. Upon waking, they find them selves as hybrids, these hybrid species ranging from passive to aggressive. What will they do when they find out how much they changed? Impulse has spent most of his life watching his friends succeed as superheroes. They're granted by necklaces, made by the original Hotguy and Cuteguy - the first ever superheroes. Over time, they were manipulated to control a certain element - including light and dark. The light and dark were locked away for people's safety, because the dark necklace corrupts the holder - but someone got it, and gave it to an innocent. Now Impulse, despite rejecting one so many times, has to step up. But not everything is as it seems.
