After learning that one had recently been witnessed by a scientist, his curiosity quickly turns into an obsession. Lately, though, he's been struggling to keep himself together. Some days feel heavier than others, and even the things he once loved don't seem to brighten them anymore. Then one night, on his way home, he is attacked by a mysterious vampire and nearly dies. He keeps the incident a secret. Because the vampire keeps coming back. And somehow, the bite doesn't feel like the worst thing he's carrying.
